We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. Our purpose it to provide a safe, cage free, no-kill facility for homeless and abandoned cats; love and care for these cats until they are adopted; educate the community on responsible cat ownership and find a loving permanent home for these cats We are giving cats a second chance at a new life. Through rescue, rehabilitation, medical care, spay/neuter, vaccination, micro-chipping, deworming and testing for FIV/FELV, we are preparing cats as lifelong pets for their new owners. It is our goal to partner with local shelters to rehome every homeless cat who's time may have run out and would soon be put to death because of space limitations. It is our goal to have no more cats living in the wild or in cages. We will provide humane classes to adolescent children and teenagers on the responsibilities of pet guardianship by visiting elementary schools. We will support several programs including low-cost spay/neuter and vet services, a pet food bank for low-income families, and an active volunteer program for teens and adults. At this time, we are operating out of volunteer's homes. These individuals are providing a safe environment for all our rescued cats, giving them love and care while preparing them for adoption. Much needs to be done. We need a minimum of 5 acres of land on which to build our facility, an architect to design the animal care facility and a contractor to construct it. We will be seeking publicity, holding fundraisers, writing articles and grants so that we can accomplish this goal. This facility will benefit the entire community of Placer County. As we continue on our journey toward building this state of the art facility for people and cats, we hope you will donate your time, energy and money toward this endeavor. We hope to meet you soon. |
